Queen Letizia attends World Mental Health Day 2022 event in Madrid
On Wednesday, Queen Letizia attended the World Mental Health Day 2022 event in Madrid ahead of World Mental Health Day on October 10th. This year’s campaign’s theme is “Mental health and well-being for all people as a global priority.”
Queen Letizia attended the event in her role as Honorary President of UNICEF Spain and UNICEF’s advocate for the Mental Health of Children and Adolescents.
In her speech, Queen Letizia said: “ This boom in the global public conversation about mental health, could be, should be, the beginning of the collective response that the societies in which we live need. […] Working in mental health (and all that that means) is the best investment. And if we talk about young people, it is clear that the lack of employment and expectations, social vulnerability, and poverty are also causes associated with the risk of suffering a mental disorder. In other words, the well-being or psychological discomfort of people of any age and of any condition is something that matters to us and that affects us all.”
Queen Letizia wore her Massimo Dutti dress with her Magrit pumps and Magrit clutch. She paired the outfit with her Gold & Roses earrings and her Karen Hallam ring.
