This week, Princess Astrid led a Belgian business delegation for an economic mission in Japan from Monday to Friday.

On Wednesday, Princess Astrid first visited the Suzuka International Racing Course which hopes to collaborate with Spa-Francorchamps to develop solutions in terms of sustainable development.

Afterward, Princess Astrid inaugurated the Hydrobingo, the world's first hydrogen-powered ferry, at the Nagoya Port.

Princess Astrid also met with Hideaki Omura, the Governor of Aichi Prefecture.

On Thursday, Princess Astrid and the Belgian delegation were in Osaka where they first attended a Success Stories Breakfast.

Afterward, Princess Astrid visited Air Water Inc which has signed a contract with the Belgian company Xylergy for the creation of a biomass power plant in Matumoto.

She also visited Daikin's innovation center, which will soon open a similar center in Ghent.

On Friday, Princess Astrid ended her economic mission in Kyoto. She first attended a seminar on Business and Human Rights under the theme “Expectations on gender equality in business”.

Princess Astrid also attended an event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 1920s Japanese book donation to the University of Louvain

Afterward, Princess Astrid inaugurated the exhibition “Folon, Les Sculptures - Photographies de Thierry Renauld”.

She then took part in the award ceremony of Game Jam. Game Jam is an online competition in which young Belgian and Japanese graduates had to develop a video game in less than 48 hours.

On Wednesday, Princess Astrid wore a navy jacket with her Gucci skirt, her Gucci pumps, and her Gucci bag. She also wore Zara earrings.

On Thursday, Princess Astrid wore a beige blazer with a Dries Van Noten skirt, her Chanel flats, and a Chanel bag.

On Friday, Princess Astrid wore a navy coat with her Gucci blazer, a navy dress, and a Gucci belt.
