Queen Maxima launches Eye Fund's campaign against myopia
On Wednesday, Queen Maxima launched the Eye Fund’s ‘Knikker myopie de wereld uit’ campaign against myopia in Rotterdam.
The campaign aims to raise awareness about myopia following a new study that shows that the eye quality of Dutch youth is deteriorating. Queen Maxima officially launched the campaign surrounded by children with myopia.
Queen Maxima also talked with employees of the Eye Fund and ophthalmologists about myopia, the impact of visual impairment, and developments in ophthalmology.
