Queen Silvia attends World’s Children’s Prize Ceremony
On Wednesday, Queen Silvia attended the World’s Children’s Prize ceremony at Gripsholm Castle. The Prize is voted by children and recognizes people who are raising awareness and fighting for children’s rights.
This year’s World’s Children’s Prize winner is Cindy Blackstock, from Canada, who has fought for the rights of Indigenous children in Canada for more than 30 years. The World’s Children’s Honorary Award went to Mohammed Rezwan, from Bangladesh, for his 25-year fight for the right of children, especially girls, to education.
Queen Silvia wore her Weill jacket with a white shirt, purple trousers, her Bruno Magli bag, and her Cartier bracelet.
