Queen Letizia attends the presentation of the "Todos contra el Cáncer" Project

On Thursday, Queen Letizia attended the presentation of the "Todos contra el Cáncer" Project, on the occasion of the celebration of World Cancer Day.

The initiative aims to create a social movement to involve the whole of society, companies, the media, political parties, and Public Administrations to reach 70% survival by 2030.

In her speech introducing the event, Queen Letizia said: “We are going to pay our attention, that which is so valuable right now and our attention is so disputed, to be very clear about how the pandemic has affected this disease with figures in real terms. We will also know the needs of the patient and we will understand with rigorous information what will happen if we do not act effectively on all fronts. Health is a priority, physical health and mental health. And cancer is a very worrying real problem and one of enormous complexity. Let us continue to approach it seriously and effectively.”

Queen Letizia wore her Carolina Herrera cape with a black jumper and her Adolfo Dominguez skirt. She paired the outfit with Massimo Dutti pumps (with thanks to Nuria), her TOUS earrings, and her Coreterno ring.
