Queen Silvia meets Radiohjälpen's general secretary
On Tuesday, Queen Silvia met with Radiohjälpen's general secretary Kristina Henschen at the Royal Palace. During the meeting, Kristina Henschen presented the results of the fundraiser that Queen Silvia started for her 80th birthday for the benefit of Ukraine's children. The campaign brought in just over SEK 5.3 million. The gifts are distributed to children's projects in Ukraine via Radiohjälpen.
Queen Silvia said: “For me, it feels good to be able to help Ukrainian children who live in such difficult circumstances. I want to thank Radiohjälpen, World Children and everyone who contributed to this gift for the benefit of children with mental illness in Ukraine. Thank you for this lovely birthday gift that warms my heart.”
Queen Silvia wore her Georg et Arend blouse with a repeated suit as well as her Cartier and Engelbert bracelets.
