Princess Märtha Louise and Durek Verrett kick off wedding festivities in Åselund
On Thursday, the wedding festivities of Princess Märtha Louise and Durek Verrett started in Åselund. The couple were spotted landing in Åselund the day before.
Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit arrived in Åselund on Thursday. Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien are also attending the festivities as Princess Laurentien is the godmother of Leah Isadora Behn, Princess Märtha Louise’s daughter.
In the evening, Princess Märtha Louise and Durek Verrett hosted a “Meet and Greet” drink reception at Hotel 1904 in Åselund for their guests The couple wore matching outfits custom-made by HÉST a brand owned by Princess Märtha Louise.
Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and Princess Ingrid Alexandra also attended the reception.
On Wednesday, Princess Märtha Louise wore a HÈST outfit with a Louis Vuitton bag and her Gucci bag.
On Thursday, Crown Princess Mette-Marit first wore a Paula jacket and a Paula jumper (with thanks to RoyalFashionPolice) with her Zara overshirt, jeans, and her On Running sneakers. The beige jacket features a weaved ant on the back that could have been one of Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s weaving projects. She paired the outfit with her Christian Dior glasses and her Cartier ring. Crown Prince Haakon was also seen carrying her Hermes bag.
At the reception, Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore her Oscar de la Renta top with white trousers and her Paloma van den Akker bag.
When arriving in Åselund, Princess Laurentien wore her Maliparmi printed suit.
