King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visit Toulouse

On Wednesday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited Toulouse, France, to mark the Dutch-French Economic Year. They landed in France on Tuesday evening.


On Wednesday, they first attended a reception by the Prefect of Occitania and the President of the Regional Council at the Prefect's residence.

Afterward, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited the global headquarters of aircraft manufacturer Airbus, where they attended a signing ceremony and met with students who are completing part of their practical training at Airbus. They also saw a A350 Assembly Line.

In the afternoon, they visited the Domaine de Candie urban farm to hear more about the use of robotics in wine production and attend the signing of several agricultural partnership agreements. 

In the evening, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended a reception at the Capitole, Toulouse's city hall, where they met with representatives from the aviation, agriculture, and energy sectors, as well as participants from the Dutch trade mission and their French partners.

On Tuesday evening, Queen Maxima wore her Natan Couture dark green outfit.

On Wednesday, Queen Maxima first wore her Natan Couture skirt suit with her Salvatore Ferragamo pumps and a Glorinha Paranaguá clutch (with thanks to Marion). She also wore her Chanel sunglasses.

Queen Maxima then wore a Natan Couture outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Natan clutch. She also wore her Patek Philippe watch.
