Spanish State Visit to Egypt - Day 2
On Wednesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia spent their second day in Egypt. They first laid a wreath at the Memorial to the Martyrs of the Armed Forces.
Afterward, King Felipe and Queen Letizia were officially welcomed to Egypt by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the First Lady, Entissar Amer El-Sisi, at Al-Ittihadiya Palace. After the ceremony, King Felipe held a meeting with the President and Queen Letizia held a meeting with the First Lady.
The Royal Couple then attended an official lunch hosted by the Presidential Couple. Both King Felipe and the President made speeches during the luncheon.
In the evening, the Presidential Couple hosted King Felipe and Queen Letizia to a private dinner at a restaurant located near the Giza Pyramids Complex. Following the dinner, the Royal Couple and the Presidential Couple received a guided tour of the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx.
Queen Letizia first wore a The 2nd Skin Co. guipure lace dress with her Magrit pumps and a repeated bag. She paired the outfit with her Gold & Roses earrings and her Coreterno ring.
In the evening, Queen Letizia wore a Joseph dress with her Magrit pumps and Magrit clutch. She also wore her Coreterno ring.
