Queen Maxima visits Indonesia as UNSGSA - Day 2
On Wednesday, Queen Maxima spent her second day in Indonesia in her capacity as the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Financial Security (UNSGSA). She first took part in a roundtable discussion with development organizations at the local UN office.
Afterward, Queen Maxima spoke at the International Finance Corporation, part of the World Bank, about developing loans that contribute to economic growth and financial health.
Queen Maxima then visited Gran Harmoni Cluster Housing, a housing project that provides low-emission homes for low- and middle-income earners, with Bank Tabungan Negara offering affordable mortgages and insurance.
In the afternoon, Queen Maxima visited Deloitte to hear more about their work to support the financial well-being of their employees and clients.
She also met with CEOs of various companies to discuss developing insurance and savings programs that help people cope with financial setbacks.
