Swedish Royal Family attends 2025 Nobel Prize Ceremony

On Wednesday, the Swedish Royal Family attended the 2025 Nobel Prize Ceremony. Princess Sofia did not attend as she is still on maternity leave.

During the official ceremony, the King handed out the prizes in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, and Literature as well as the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel. The Queen and the Crown Princess couple were watching from the stage while Prince Carl-Philip, Princess Madeleine, and Christopher O’Neill were in the audience.

Following the ceremony, an official gala dinner took place with the Royal Family in attendance. Tomorrow evening, the King will host another gala dinner for the Nobels Laureates at the Royal Palace.

Queen Silvia wore her Georg et Arend yellow embellished dress with Brunate pumps. She also wore her Cartier bracelet. She wore the Nine Prong Tiara.

Crown Princess Victoria wore her mother’s Jacques Zehnder gown which Queen Silvia first wore at the Nobel Prize Ceremony in 1994. She paired the outfit with her Aquatalia pumps and her LK Bennett bag. She wore the Baden Fringe Tiara.

Princess Madeleine wore her Jenny Packham gown with her Amina Muaddi clutch. She wore the Aquamarine Kokoshnik Tiara, her aquamarine earrings, and her Cartier bracelet.
