Spanish State Visit to Egypt - Day 3
On Thursday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia spent their third day in Egypt. The Royal Couple had a separate agenda for most of the day.
Queen Letizia first visited the Sultan Foundation's cultural center in the City of the Dead where she inaugurated a photography exhibition "Maq'Ad Sultan Qaitbey" by Egyptian Mohamed Mahdy and Spanish Laura Silleras about the City of the Dead.

Afterward, Queen Letizia attended a percussion performance by a group of young beneficiaries of the Foundation's projects and visited the leather and goldsmith workshop which provides training and employment to women.

In the afternoon, King Felipe and Queen Letizia held a meeting with the directors of the Spanish departments of Egyptian universities and institutes of higher education.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia then traveled to Luxor, where they will spend the last day of their state visit tomorrow.

After their arrival, King Felipe and Queen Letizia went to the Temple of Hatshepsut, where they inaugurated the night lighting carried out by a consortium of Spanish companies, within a large project for the conditioning and improvement of archaeological sites in Luxor. The project has enabled the temples to be provided with professional lighting, utilizing cutting-edge technology.

Queen Letizia first wore a jacket by Egyptian designer Dina Shaker (with thanks to Nuria) with white trousers and her Sézane pumps. She also wore earrings by MISHKĀ (with thanks to Nuria), the Egyptian designer whose workshop Queen Letizia toured during the day, and her Coreterno ring.
In the evening, Queen Letizia wore her Mango white suit with her Calzados Picon wedges and her Magrit clutch. She paired the outfit with her Isabel Guarch earrings and her Coreterno ring.
