Spanish State Visit to Egypt - Day 4
On Friday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia spent their fourth and last day in Egypt visiting Luxor. They first toured the Luxor Museum, where they saw a selection of the most significant pieces discovered by the project led by Spanish archaeologists José Manuel Galán and Myriam Seco.

Afterward, King Felipe and Queen Letizia went to the Valley of the Kings, where they heard more about the project to refurbish and improve the archaeological sites of Luxor and Giza, which includes the development of tourism in the tomb area of the Valley of the Kings. There, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited the Tomb KV9 of Ramesses V and VI, as well as the tomb KV17 Seti I.

The Royal Couple also toured some of the 14 Spanish archaeological missions that are carrying out seasonal work in Luxor, such as the excavation of the Tuthmosis III project and the excavation site for the Djehuty project.

Afterward, King Felipe and Queen Letizia travelled to Luxor Airport where they departed for Spain.
