King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visit Flevoland Region
On Tuesday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima paid a visit to the Flevoland Region.
They first visited Lelystad where they toured the Kubus cultural center and attended a rehearsal of a theater production performed by clients of a care organization. Afterward, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited the Nieuw Land National Park to learn more about nature management, the flora and fauna in the area, and research into the park's ecological dynamics.
In Almere, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited the De Ruimte community center where they heard from residents about living, working, and living in a neighborhood currently under construction.
They also toured the MBO College Poort to discuss the further economic and social development of the region as well as how the need for education and employment plays a role in Almere's continued development as a high-tech innovation hub.
In Zeewolde, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited the De Beleving greenhouse where they met with agricultural entrepreneurs to discuss the opportunities and challenges of farming in the polder. They also visited the port of Zeewolde to meet with representatives from the province, the municipalities they visited, and their partners.
Queen Maxima wore her Natan Couture dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps. She paired the outfit with her Luz Camino earrings and her Dinh Van and Marianna Goulandris bracelets.
