Swedish State Visit to Poland - Day 1
On Tuesday, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia started a three-day State Visit to Poland. King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia were officially welcomed by President Karol Nawrocki and his wife, Marta Nawrocka, at the Presidential Palace.
After the welcoming ceremony, the Presidential Couple and the Royal Couple had a private meeting inside the Presidential Palace.

While King Carl Gustaf and President Nawrocki held a bilateral meeting, Queen Silvia and Marta Nawrocka visited the Polish National Opera. They toured the Opera and watched a ballet rehearsal.
King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia then took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Piłsudski Square.

Afterward, the Royal Couple visited the Parliament where they met the Speaker of the Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, and the Speaker of the Senate, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska. They also took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the memorial wall honoring parliamentarians who died during the Second World War.
The Speaker of the Senate also hosted an official lunch at the lakeside palace in Łazienki Park in honor of King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia.

The Royal Couple then attended a reception hosted by Sweden's Ambassador to Poland, Martina Quick, with Swedish people living in Poland at the Swedish residence.

In the evening, President Karol Nawrocki and his wife, Marta Nawrocka, hosted a gala dinner in honor of King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia at the Presidential Palace.
Queen Silvia first wore her Camilla Thulin pink coat with a Georg et Arend pink dress. She paired the outfit with repeated pumps and her Lalo clutch. She also wore her Cartier and Engelbert Stockholm bracelets.
In the evening, Queen Silvia wore a purple gown with her Brunate pumps and her Romero Britto clutch. She also wore her Cartier and Engelbert Stockholm bracelets.
