Swedish State Visit to Poland - Day 3
On Thursday, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia spent their third day in Poland, attending engagements in Gdańsk. They first visited the European Solidarity Centre. They laid a wreath at the monument to the fallen shipyard workers in 1970 before meeting with former President Lech Wałęsa. They also toured the Centre and left a message on the "Solidarity Wall".
Afterward, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia walked through Gdańsk's old town to get to the Town Hall.
At Artus Court, they met with Swedish students in Gdansk and Polish students studying Swedish at the Scandinavian Faculty in Gdańsk before attending an official lunch hosted by Gdańsk’s mayor.

The Royal Couple also went to Dom Zdrojowy, on the beach in Gdańsk. The visit focused on Swedish-Polish collaborations aimed at improving water quality in the Baltic Sea and protecting the environment.
Queen Silvia wore her Georg et Arend coat with her Vesna W blouse, black trousers, black boots, and her Darby Scott bag. She also wore a black trench coat. She paired the outfit with her Cartier and Engelbert Stockholm bracelets.
