Danish State Visit to Australia - Day 3

On Monday, King Frederik and Queen Mary spent their third day in Australia, attending engagements in Canberra.

At Government-House, King Frederik and Queen Mary planted two trees in the garden.

Afterward, the Royal Couple visited the Australian War Memorial where they took part in a wreath-laying ceremony to honor the efforts of the Australian Armed Forces in wars and international missions since the First World War.

King Frederik and Queen Mary then met with the Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, and the Speaker of Parliament, Milton Dick. They were also shown selected works from Indigenous Works, which are part of the art collection in the Australian Parliament House.

The Royal Couple then met with the Denmark-Australia Parliamentary Friendship Group and attended a tea party. They also took part in the opening of the Danish–Australian Life Science Conference.

In the evening, King Frederik and Queen Mary attended a dinner hosted by the Prime Minister.

Queen Mary first wore a Carolina Herrera dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Katrin Cecilia Jacobsen headpiece.

Queen Mary then wore her Max Mara suit with her Max Mara jacket, her Gianvito Rossi pumps, and her Max Mara bag. She paired the outfit with her Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings.

In the evening, Queen Mary wore her Etro dress with her Gianvito Rossi sandals.
