Danish State Visit to Estonia - Day 1
On Tuesday, King Frederik and Queen Mary started a State Visit to Estonia. They were officially welcomed by the President of Estonia, Alar Karis, and the First Lady, Sirje Karis, at the Town Hall Square in Tallinn.
Afterward, King Frederik and Queen Mary took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument to the War of Independence.
The Presidential Couple then held a meeting with the Royal Couple before visiting the Memorial to the Victims of Communism in Maarjamäe.
The Memorial to the Victims of Communism in Maarjamäe was inaugurated in 2018 as Estonia's national memorial complex for the more than 75,000 citizens who were deported, imprisoned, or killed under the Soviet regime between 1940 and 1991.
King Frederik and Queen Mary then met with the Prime Minister of Estonia, Kristen Michal, and the Speaker of the Estonian Parliament, Lauri Hussar.
The Royal Couple and the Presidential Couple then visited Rakett69 Science Studios. Rakett69 Science Studios is a modern learning center that strengthens children and young people's interest in science, technology, and innovation through hands-on activities.
In the evening, the Presidential Couple hosted a concert and state banquet in St. Nicholas Church for King Frederik and Queen Mary.
Queen Mary first wore her Max Mara coat with a Lasse Spangenberg dress. She paired the outfit with Gianvito Rossi boots and her Anya Hindmarch bag. She also wore a Katrin Cecilia Jacobsen headband.
In the evening, Queen Mary wore her Prada gown with her Prada clutch. She wore her Wedding Tiara and her Bruun Rasmussen earrings.
