Queen Mathilde's Economic Mission to Türkiye - Day 1
On Sunday, Queen Mathilde started a three-day economic mission to Türkiye. She landed in Istanbul and was welcomed by Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Turkey’s Minister of Family and Social Services.
Afterward, Queen Mathilde visited the Dolmabahçe Palace with the First Lady of Turkey, Emine Erdoğan.
Queen Mathilde then visited BAYKAR Technologies, a Turkish company specializing in the design and manufacture of drones. The company is a potential partner for the Belgian aerospace and defence sectors.
Queen Mathilde and the delegation then visited Ortaköy Square.
In the evening, Queen Mathilde attended an information session for the Belgian Delegation, followed by a welcome networking drink.
Queen Mathilde first wore her Esmeralda Ammoun outfit with red pumps and her Giorgio Armani clutch. She paired the outfit with her Carolina Herrera earrings, her Rolex watch, and her Longchamp sunglasses.
