The Princess of Wales visits Reggio Emilia - Day 2

On Thursday, the Princess of Wales spent her second day in Reggio Emilia, Italy, with the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

She first visited the Salvador Allende Scuola dell’Infanzia to see how the Reggio Emilia Approach to Early Childhood includes nature-based learning and outdoor activities. She spent time with the children deciding on the day’s activities before touring the school grounds to hear how the educators incorporate the environment in their approach.

Afterward, the Princess of Wales visited REMIDA, a project that transforms industrial surplus materials into tools for investigation and learning for children. She also met with business owners who are donating the materials to discuss their support of the early childhood initiatives.

The Princess of Wales then visited a rural agriturismo where she helped prepare food for a lunch to which she had invited people she had met during her visit and their families.

The Princess of Wales wore her Blazé Milano blazer with a white top and a Jenni Kayne skirt (with thanks to MiddletonMaven). She also wore her Kiki McDonough earrings and necklace, an Atelier Molayhem bracelet, and her Cartier watch.
