King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia's Golden Wedding Anniversary - Te Deum & Concert
On Saturday, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in Stockholm. The Royal Couple married 50 years ago on 19 June 1976 and the anniversary was celebrated this weekend as June 19th falls on Midsummer Eve.
King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia first attended a Te Deum service held at the Palace Church with their family in attendance. Princess Estelle could not attend the celebrations as she is currently on a language trip.
Princess Benedikte, Prince Gustav, and Princess Carina were among the foreign Royal guests invited to the celebrations.
Afterward, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia hosted a lunch for their guests at the Royal Palace.
A new official photo of the Swedish Royal Family was released to mark the anniversary.

In the afternoon, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia boarded the royal sloop Vasaorden and traveled across the Stockholm stream to Royal Djurgården.
From Royal Djurgården, the Royal Couple traveled by horse and carriage through the streets of Stockholm. They traveled in the same parade carriage as at the wedding in 1976.

They then joined their family at a love-themed concert held by the City of Stockholm in Kungsträdgården. The concert was described as “a musical journey of love through 50 years” and was open to everyone.
Queen Silvia wore a Maknam red outfit with a matching hat as well as Natan shoes and bag. She also wore a Beauty Gems brooch and her Cartier and Engelbert Stockholm necklaces.
Crown Princess Victoria wore a Safiyaa yellow outfit with a matching yellow hat. She paired the outfit with her Gianvito Rossi black pumps and her Abro black clutch. She also wore her Kreuger Jewellery bracelets.
Princess Sofia wore a Lilli Jahilo pink dress with her Christian Louboutin pumps and a Susan Szatmary clutch. She wore a pink hat with Orrling Jewellery earrings.
Princes Alexander, Gabriel, and Julian wore Friki suits with Friki ties.
Princess Ines wore a Friki dress with Next shoes.
Princess Madeleine wore a Roland Mouret suit with white pumps and her Mango bag. She also wore a Philip Treacy hat.
Princess Leonore wore her Zara jacket with a By Malina printed dress and white flats.
Princess Adrienne wore a Livly printed dress with white flats. For the concert, she changed into her H&M gold flats.
Princess Benedikte wore her Wichmann Couture outfit with her Evaluna pumps, her Mathilde Førster hat and her Christian Dior watch.
Princess Carina wore her Birgit Hallstein pink coat with Roger Vivier pumps and a Dolce & Gabbana bag.
