Queen Maxima visits the Christian Primary School Sabina van Egmond in Oud-Beijerland

Today, Queen Maxima visited the Christian Primary School Sabina van Egmond in Oud-Beijerland to learn more about the impact of the pandemic and lockdowns on education.

During her visit, Queen Maxima spoke with teachers about the organization of remote learning and of reopening the schools. She also talked to children about their thoughts on remote learning and their hopes for their future education.

She then took part in a round table with parents who talked about the challenges of working from home while organizing remote learning for their children at home.

To end her visit, Queen Maxima spoke with the children's Participation Council of CBS Sabina van Egmond about their experiences during the lockdown.

Queen Maxima wore a red sleeveless dress with her red Natan Datvia coat. She paired the outfit with her burgundy Gianvito Rossi pumps and Natan clutch.
