Crown Princess Mary officially opens Strandbakkehuset

Today, Crown Princess Mary officially opened the children's and young people's hospice Strandbakkehuset in Rønde on Djursland.

Strandbakkehuset offers palliative care and treatment to children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses as well as accommodations for their families.

After the inauguration ceremony, Crown Princess Mary toured the new hospice and saw a sensory room, family homes, and an outdoor playground.

The hospice was developed in collaboration with the Djursland Hospital and welcomed its first families in December 2020.

Crown Princess Mary wore her H&M Conscious printed dress with her Gianvito Rossi nude python pumps. She paired the outfit with her Dulong earrings as well as Dulong and Cartier bracelets.
