On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Charlotte, as well as the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children attended Day 5 of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children first watched the Women's 100-metre and 800-metre first rounds.

The family was then joined by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Charlotte to watch the men’s swimming heats.

Then, they watched as the England hockey team defeated the Indian team. The Countess of Wessex, as Patron of England Hockey, met with the team afterward to congratulate them.

The Duchess of Cambridge also met with one of her patronages during the day as she visited SportsAid with the Duke of Cambridge and Princess Charlotte. During the visit, they learned more about SportsAid’s Team England Futures program.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Charlotte ended their day at the Arena Birmingham for the Artistic Gymnastics events. Earlier in the day, Princess Charlotte had said that gymnastics was her favorite sport.

In the evening, the Earl and Countess of Wessex watched the 3x3 wheelchair basketball finals and presented the medals. The Countess of Wessex is Patron of British Wheelchair Basketball.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore her Alexander McQueen suit with her Camilla Elphick flats and Mappin & Webb jewels.

Princess Charlotte wore a Rachel Riley dress with La Coqueta sandals (with thanks to Bojana).

The Countess of Wessex first wore a the Pia top by Soler in a bespoke print with white trousers, her Penelope Chilvers shoes, and her Sophie Habsburg bag. She also wore her Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses, her Cassandra Goad necklace, and her Felt bracelet.

In the evening, the Countess of Wessex wore her Gabriela Hearst dress with her Cassandra Goad necklace and her Felt bracelet.

Lady Louise wore a white top with a Lipsy London skirt, sneakers, a fringed bag, and her Clogau necklace.
