Queen Letizia marks World Mental Health Day

On Tuesday, Queen Letizia attended a conference hosted by the Spanish Mental Health Confederation to mark World Mental Health Day in Madrid.

In her speech, Queen Letizia said: “This is a day to reflect what the last 364 days have been like, a day where people with mental health problems look us in the face and tell us how we should improve society, administrations, and institutions. So it is advisable to listen to know where the action should go, because investment in mental health is the guarantee of a more prosperous, fairer, and more equitable future for all people and because we all have limitations, distrust, fears, insecurities, all of them. We need tools to face life.” Queen Letizia also borrowed lyrics from rapper El Chojín in her speech to draw attention to the seriousness of the issue.

Queen Letizia wore her Sandro dress with Carolina Herrera accessories. She paired the outfit with her Gold & Roses earrings and her Coreterno ring.
