King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visit Örebro County
On Friday, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited Örebro County as part of King Carl-Gustaf’s Jubilee celebrations.
They first visited the Kulturkvarteret where they saw the photo exhibition The King in Örebro County - 50 years of visits.
King Carl Gustaf then planted a tree outside the building to mark the Jubilee visit.
Afterward, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia walked to Örebro Castle through the Castle Park.
At Örebro Castle, they attended an official lunch hosted by County governor Lena Rådström Baastad.
The Royal Couple then attended a jubilee event with performances by students and choirs from the County.
In his speech, King Carl Gustaf said: “There is nothing like the Queen and I appreciate as much as traveling around Sweden and meeting people. To see and experience everything beautiful and fantastic that is contained in this country! We have always thought so. We are therefore happy that, on the occasion of this double anniversary, we are visiting all of the kingdom's cities of residence. And now the turn has come to Örebro!”
Queen Silvia wore a repeated suit with her Marzio pumps and her Cartier bracelet.
