The Grand Ducal couple and Pope Francis then went to the Cercle Cité where Pope Francis met with national authorities and the population.

The Grand Ducal family then attended a meeting organized in Notre-Dame Cathedral between the Pope Francis and the Luxembourg Catholic community

Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa then bade farewell to Pope Francis at the airport.
