Belgian State Visit to Chile - Day 1

On Tuesday, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde started their three-day official visit to Chile.
King Philippe first met with Chileans who took refuge in Belgium after the 1973 coup, while Queen Mathilde visited Coaniquem, a center that offers free care to children who are victims of burns.

Afterward, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde were officially welcomed by the President of Chile, Gabriel Boric, at the Presidential Palace.

Queen Mathilde also visited Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino.

Queen Mathilde then met members of the Mapuche community, the main indigenous people of Chile, while King Philippe met with the Presidents of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

In the evening, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde attended an official reception.

Queen Mathilde first wore a repeated dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps, her Giorgio Armani pumps, and her Rolex watch.

For the official welcome ceremony, Queen Mathilde wore her Christian Dior coat and dress with her Christian Dior pumps, bag, and hat.

Queen Mathilde then wore a Dries Van Noten suit (with thanks to GardeRobeRoyale) with her Giorgio Armani bag.

In the evening, Queen Mathilde wore her Natan Couture red dress.
