The Duchess of Cambridge celebrates the launch of Hold Still: A Portrait Of Our Nation in 2020

Today, the Duchess of Cambridge celebrated the release of her photography book Hold Still: A Portrait Of Our Nation in 2020 which she curated with the National Portrait Gallery with several events in London.

She collaborated with The Bookfairies to place several copies of the book around the UK. The proceeds from the book will be split evenly between the National Portrait Gallery and MIND.

Afterward, the Duchess of Cambridge visited the Royal London Hospital to learn more about their Vital Arts service and hear from the staff about how they handled the pandemic. The Duchess and NPG also gifted a framed portrait of the photo ‘Melanie’ to the hospital.

The Duchess of Cambridge then visited the National Portrait Gallery where she viewed the archives and then met finalists Naz Maleknia and Claudia Burton. It has been announced that the 100 photos selected for Hold Still will be part of NPG’s national collection.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a new Eponine London coat dress (with thanks to Polka) with a new Zara skirt (with thanks to MiddletonMaven). She paired the outfit with her Ralph Lauren pumps and a new Demellier London bag (with thanks to LadyParky79). She also wore her Mappin & Webb earrings.
