Belgian State Visit to Germany - Day 1
On Tuesday, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde started a three-day State Visit to Germany. The Royal Couple arrived in Berlin in the morning.
In the afternoon, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde were officially welcomed by the German President and the First Lady at Bellevue Castle.
The Royal Couple and the Presidential Couple then exchanged gifts and had a private meeting.
Afterward, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde met with Berlin’s Mayor Kai Wegner at the Brandenburg Gate and at the Town Hall.
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde also took part in a wreath laying ceremony at the Neue Wache.
In the evening, the German Presidential Couple hosted a State Dinner in honor of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde.
When departing Belgium, Queen Mathilde wore her Esmeralda Ammoun coat with her Fabienne Delvigne hat and her Rolex watch.
